Some get a sports car when they turn 40. Others, a face lift. For our 40th, the face lift is in the form of a brand new tasting room and outdoor patio, ready to be enjoyed in June 2014.

Chateau Grand Traverse is excited to announce a major redevelopment of our winery. The first total remodel of our winery and tasting room is coming at a very special time for our family business – our 40th anniversary. Our goal is to provide the most enjoyable winery experience for our guests. To that end, we are remodeling the interior of our tasting room to maximize efficiency during busy times while also allowing guests to comfortably learn about, taste, and experience our wine during their visit. We will also be offering wine by the glass on a brand new outdoor patio overlooking the vineyards that Ed O’Keefe, Sr. planted 40 years ago. 

We’ve been carefully growing and producing Michigan’s finest wines on Old Mission Peninsula since 1974. Our love for this land, and our dedication to excellence, has led us to make this change for our customers and guests. We look forward to seeing you this summer for a taste, a tour, or a glass of wine on the patio. And cheers to 40 more.
