In partnership with Traverse City Food & Wine\, Chateau Grand Traverse invites you to a limited-capacity afternoon wine tour\, tasting\, and baked cheese pairing in the intimate setting of our barrel room. Your experience begins with our Art of Riesling tour\, a guided\, full sensory tour of Old Mission Peninsula terroir and the winemaking choices that shape our wines. After the tour\, guests will be seated in the privacy of our barrel room for a Chef-driven pairing featuring a trio of warm baked cheese dishes prepared and served by Executive Chef Keil. Each dish is built around oven-baked cheese layered with farm-to-table ingredients—think bright seasonal fruit\, toasted nuts\, and balanced sweet-and-savory elements woven directly into each course—creating rich\, shareable plates designed to pair beautifully with wine. Each baked cheese course is matched with a thoughtfully selected wine to highlight texture\, acidity\, and contrast. Designed for couples and friends alike\, this relaxed Valentine’s gathering invites guests to slow down\, share a table\, and enjoy wine and food in an intimate setting. Following the pairing\, guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary glass of wine in the tasting room and settle in for live music as the afternoon eases into early evening. Seating is limited to 26 guests.
