Q: How do I make a reservation at the Inn?
50% deposit plus 6% tax is required to book and guarantee your reservation. The balance is due on check-in.

Q: Can I make a reservation online?
Yes! Please click here to check availability and make a reservation online.

Q: I’m a CGT Wine Club Member. Do I receive a discount on my reservation?
Yes. If you are a CGT Wine Club Member, please call the winery at 231-223-7355 to make your reservation with an additional discount.

Q: How do I make an online reservation using a gift certificate?
If you have a paper gift certificate issued prior to January 20, 2015, please call the winery to make your reservation. If you have an electronic gift certificate, issued after January 20, 2015, you may use it to book online anytime.

Q: Can we have extra guests stay in our room?
The room rate is for two guests. An added charge of $25 per person will be assessed for each additional person in a room to a maximum of three persons per room.

Q: What if I need to cancel my reservation?
A $25 administration fee will be charged for all cancellations, with a forfeiture of the full deposit for reservations cancelled within 14 days of check-in. The Inn may refund the forfeited deposit, less the $25 administration fee, if we rebook your reserved room.

Q: May we bring our Children?
The Inn is restricted to adult guests of 21 years of age or older. As a courtesy to other guests, the common areas are for the use of registered guests.

Q: May we bring our pet?
Pets and animals are not permitted to stay at the Inn or in a parked vehicle.


Q: Where do we check into the Inn at Chateau Grand Traverse?
For Check-In, go to our Main Office that is open Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM. If you arrive on Saturday or Sunday, please check in at our Tasting Room.

Q: What time may we check into the Inn?
Please check in at the Main Office between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM if you arrive during the week.

Q: What if we arrive after your winery is closed?
If you are going to be checking in after 5PM, please call ahead to let us know. We can accommodate late check-ins, providing you make prior arrangements.

Q: When will I be charged for my room?
You will be charged for the balance on your room at check-in time.

Q: How do I find my room?
You will be directed to the Guest Entrance of the Inn, where you will be given the code to your room and also the code to unlock the front entrance.

Q: What time is check-out at the Inn?
Please check-out by 11:00 AM. Late check-out is subject to availability and a late check-out fee may apply.


Q: What is the general ambiance at your winery Inn?
The Inn at Chateau Grand Traverse Winery caters to an adult-only clientele since wine is provided in your room daily. We are not a hotel, nor can we be considered a traditional B&B. In essence, we invite you to enjoy our facilities and grounds while being considerate to other guests. This is not a party-atmosphere and guests seem to greatly enjoy the quiet and relaxed setting.

Q: How many rooms do you have at the Inn?
The Inn offers six unique guest rooms that are equally equipped.

Q: What size beds are offered?
We offer 2 King-Bed rooms as well as 4 Queen-Bed rooms.

Q: Do you have extra beds for guests?
In three of our Queen-Bed rooms, we offer a full-size pull out sleeper sofa. We do not have any rollaway beds.

Q: Can I bring my kids to the Inn?
No. This is an adult only facility.

Q: Can I bring my small dog/pet to the Inn?
No. Although we love all animals, we simply do not allow guest to bring pets into the Inn.

Q: Do you allow Smoking?
No. This is a non-smoking facility.

Q: Can we bring food and cook in your Kitchen?
Our Inn kitchen is not available for guest use. We do offer a microwave and refrigerator in each room for basic needs.

Q: Do you offer secure storage for bikes, kayaks, etc?
We have a garage at the Inn and guests can make arrangements to store their gear.

Q: Do you have parking for RV’s or trailers?
We do not have a designated parking area for large vehicles or trailers. However, we can usually accommodate such vehicles if you make arrangements in advance.

Q: Can you provide flowers, chocolates or special requests?
We are happy to accommodate most reasonable guest requests. Please call in advance to arrange any such needs. We ask that you make arrangements to pay for some of these requests in advance.

Q: Can we walk in your vineyard?
Yes. Our vineyards are beautiful and we invite you to enjoy the views. Since we are a farm, it is important to check with us in advance to make sure it is safe from sprays or moving equipment.

Q: Do you offer Inn guests any discounts in your Tasting Room?
Yes. Our Inn guest can enjoy an additional 5% discount in our Tasting Room. At certain times, we may also offer a special tasting of certain wines.

Q: Can we bring our own alcohol beverages to the Inn?
If guests wish to bring their own alcohol beverages, they must be stored and consumed in the privacy of your room only.

Q: What happens if you have a power outage?
The Inn is equipped with an automatic backup generator to provide basic lighting, heating and plumbing needs.

Q: Do you offer dry cleaning or laundry service?
No. Guests are free to use our complimentary washer and dryer as well as iron and ironing board located in the lower level.

Q: Do we get wine in our room daily?
Yes. Guests are provided a choice of wine selections that are provided in their room on a daily basis.

Q: Do you provide a cooked breakfast?
We offer a deluxe continental breakfast available daily from 7 am-10 am in our Inn breakfast room. Guests can enjoy fresh coffee, tea, baked goods, bread, juices, cereals, waffles, and fruit pastries. Our Breakfast room refrigerator is stocked daily with fresh hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, milk, bacon, sausage, breakfast sandwiches and yogurt. We do not offer a chef on site.

Q: Do you provide daily housekeeping?
Yes. Rooms are refreshed each day with fresh towels and linens.

Q: How do I gain access to the Inn and my room?
The Inn has coded access to both the main entrance as well as individual guest rooms. You will be provided with these codes upon check-in.

Q: Do you have an exercise facility?
Yes, we offer an exercise room in our lower level with a Cybex treadmill, stair climber, weight machine, pads and most other workout needs. We also feature a large sauna for guest use. Water, towels and a nearby bathroom with shower are available.

Q: Do you allow outside guests to visit?
No. Out of respect and security to other guests, the Inn is only available to paying guests.

Q: Do you have an in-room safe or secure area for personal valuables?
No. Although we have never had an issue, it is your responsibility to keep track of your valuables.

Q: How do you accommodate late arrivals?
We regularly have late arrival customers. Arrangements need to be made in advance since we do not have a 24 hour desk.

Q: Is your Inn handicapped accessible?
Our Inn can accommodate people with limited mobility with wide doors and ground level entry. Unfortunately, we do not have ADA qualified rooms or bathrooms in the Inn.

Q: Do you have phone access in each guestroom?
Each room is equipped with a phone for local calls only. You must dial “9” for an outside line.

Q: Do you have Internet/Wi Fi access in each guestroom?
Free wireless internet access is available throughout the Inn at Chateau Grand Traverse Winery. Our Network IP is: cgt guest house.
