One of Traverse City Food & Wine week’s most coveted and intimate experiences returns to Chateau Grand Traverse. Lunch in the Vines begins with a welcome pour before guests embark on a guided walking tour through the estate vineyards, production cellar, and barrel room, including exclusive tank samples rarely experienced outside the winery itself. The journey culminates beneath the vines for a communal multi-course lunch hosted by a nationally celebrated guest chef, featuring internationally inspired cuisine paired with estate wines from Old Mission Peninsula. More than a meal, the experience invites guests to engage directly with the chef in an open-table setting designed for storytelling, conversation, and the shared exploration of food and wine. Past featured talent has included Food Network personalities, James Beard-recognized chefs, and some of the culinary world’s most exciting rising voices. With only 24 seats available each afternoon, this remains one of the festival’s most exclusive culinary tickets.
