THE MAHJONG SOCIETY

An intimate three-day retreat pairing Mahjong with exceptional food, Chateau Grand Traverse wines and private experiences throughout the estate. Enjoy chef-prepared meals at our boutique Inn, in the Barrel Room and Speakeasy, dedicated time around the Mahjong table, and a wine country escape designed to be savored.

Arrival | Check-In
Settle into the Inn and enjoy a little time in wine country before the retreat begins.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 16

8:00–9:00 AM | Breakfast
Start the day with a chef-prepared breakfast.

9:00–11:00 AM | Mahjong
Our first full session at the tables.

12:00 PM | Private Winery Tour
Go behind the scenes at Chateau Grand Traverse before heading to lunch.

1:00 PM | Private Barrel Room Lunch
A private lunch in the Barrel Room accompanied by Chateau Grand Traverse wines.

3:00–5:00 PM | Mahjong
Back to the tables for an afternoon session.

6:00 PM | Dinner in the Speakeasy
A family-style dinner served in our private Speakeasy, with Chateau Grand Traverse wines included.

8:00–10:00 PM | Mahjong
One more round to finish the day, with evening snacks and wine.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17

8:00–9:00 AM | Continental Breakfast
A relaxed final morning at the Inn.

9:00–11:00 AM | Mahjong
One last session before heading home.
