The return of our Old World, New World Wine Dinner invites just 24 guests into an immersive evening exploring how classic European varietals are interpreted through the terroir of Old Mission Peninsula. Combining comparative wine education, exclusive cellar access, and a multi-course pairing dinner by Executive Chef Keil Moshier, the experience offers one of the most intimate and distinctive culinary events on Old Mission Peninsula.
The experience begins with a guided walk through the vineyards and production spaces, where guests explore the influence of Lake Michigan, glacial soils, and the enduring traditions of Old World viticulture on our estate winemaking philosophy. Along the way, guests will enjoy a welcome pour in the barrel room and exclusive cellar tastings, offering a rare glimpse into wines in development and the decisions that shape texture, balance, structure, and ageability.
Following the tour, the evening transitions beneath the Inn to The Club Room, our private speakeasy reserved exclusively for this experience. Here, guests gather around a shared table for a multi-course plated pairing dinner created by Executive Chef Keil Moshier. The evening’s menu features fresh morel bisque, rosemary-crusted lamb lollipops, flourless chocolate cake, and other seasonally inspired dishes thoughtfully paired with a curated selection of iconic European wines and estate-grown expressions from Old Mission Peninsula.
More than a traditional wine dinner, the evening is designed as a comparative tasting experience. Guests will discover how identical varietals express themselves across different continents, climates, and winemaking traditions while enjoying side-by-side pairings that highlight both the contrasts and connections between Old World and New World winemaking.
Set within the warm, private atmosphere of the Inn, the experience unfolds at a relaxed pace where exceptional food, remarkable wines, and thoughtful conversation take center stage. With just 24 seats available, the intimate setting encourages discovery, connection, and a deeper appreciation for the relationship between terroir, cuisine, and craftsmanship.
