Join us for a special Thursday evening edition of Sound Bites as Chateau Grand Traverse partners with Blood Cancer United to support the fight against blood cancers through awareness, research, and community impact. Set against panoramic vineyard views, the evening will feature a live performance from Jeff Socia, bringing his signature blend of energy and atmosphere to one of the winery’s most meaningful community nights of the season. Guests will receive their first drink courtesy of Blood Cancer United while enjoying chef-curated small bites created exclusively for the event.
One of the organization’s most impactful initiatives is Light The Night, the nation’s fifth-largest peer-to-peer fundraising program, dedicated to bringing light to the darkness of cancer through community walks and awareness events. This year’s Michigan events will take place in Detroit on September 24, Grand Rapids on October 1, and Mid-Michigan on October 2. Blood Cancer United is also exploring opportunities to expand the Light The Night experience into Northern Michigan and Traverse City in the future, further connecting local communities to this important mission.
