The Art of Riesling Tour and Barrel Room Tasting offers rare behind-the-scenes access into one of America’s pioneering cool-climate wineries. Guests begin with a guided walk through the estate vineyards before entering the cellar and barrel room for an immersive exploration of Riesling production at Chateau Grand Traverse. Along the way, guests will taste directly from tank samples and unfinished wines rarely available to the public while discovering how Old Mission Peninsula’s climate and soils shape one of the country’s most celebrated Riesling programs. The experience concludes with an extended seated tasting featuring thoughtfully paired estate wines alongside locally inspired seasonal cuisine crafted by the estate Executive Chef and culinary team.
Designed to deepen the connection between food, wine, and terroir, the pairing experience transforms the tour into an intimate culinary exploration limited to just 16 guests per session.
This event will conclude with enough time for guests to make their way down to the Main Event at the Traverse City Open Space 1:00 open gates.
