What started as a summer highlight is now a year-round experience. Sound Bites, our beloved live music and culinary series, is extending beyond the warm months to bring soulful sounds and wine country hospitality to every season on Old Mission Peninsula.
From May through August, Sound Bites will continue its full lineup on Thursdays and Saturdays from 5:00–8:00 PM, with Friday evenings joining the schedule in 2026 for a full three-day weekend lineup. Guests can expect an eclectic mix of musicians, bands, DJs, and acoustic performers from across Michigan and the Midwest, with genres spanning jazz, soul, indie, folk, pop, and more. Whether you’re lounging with friends, entertaining out-of-town guests, or planning a spontaneous wine country night out, the Sound Bites patio experience is a perfect pairing of good music, small bites, and great wine.
But the music doesn’t stop when summer ends.
Beginning this fall and continuing through the dark days of winter and into early spring, Sound Bites will carry on every Saturday with cozy, ambient live music indoors at the winery. These acoustic and background-style sets are designed to complement the season’s slower pace—inviting guests to settle in with a glass of wine, light fare, and good company. It’s a warm, welcoming way to enjoy Northern Michigan even when the vines are sleeping.
