Visit our tasting room on Old Mission Peninsula to enjoy your choice of 5 of our outstanding Northern Michigan wines for just $10.

Wine tastings are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis, and no reservations are required.

Enjoy our signature wines while eating house made bites such as distinctive charcuterie, crackers and spreads, or trail mix, all while overlooking stunning views of our oldest vineyard. Currently, our patio is only open Friday-Sunday.

We offer tours of the Chateau Grand Traverse grounds and winemaking facility, taking you through the winemaking process from harvest to bottling.

The Inn

Enjoy some of the best views of the Chateau Grand Traverse vineyards, West Grand Traverse Bay, and Bowers Harbor Park from a secluded and relaxed Michigan countryside lodge that caters exclusively to an adult-only clientele.

  • The spectacular view is second only to their superb wine. They make my favorite summer wine, the Late Harvest Chardonnay. They make my favorite hostess gift, Cherry Riesling. Their Barrel fermented Chardonnay is memorable and their staff is very accommodating and helpful. CGT does everything right and I absolutely love becoming out of town guests to their winery because they never disappoint!

  • Let me tell about this wonderful winery. We were there today in the heat of the cherry festival and their staff was not only personable but knowledgeable. Two to five groups of people and everyone had wine in their glass. And on top of that their team tag teamed the groups so their team work was impeccable.
