CGT Reserve wines are our highest quality, small production red wines. These wines are single varietal and are oaked for upwards of 24 months.
Traditionally known as Gamay Noir à Jus Blanc, Gamay Noir has adapted well to the climate of Northern Michigan, producing a lighter-bodied, aromatic, fruity red wine with distinct tart cherry, red plum and black pepper flavors abound. With 36 months of barrel aging, it is lighter than traditional red wines making it a versatile wine for cheese and breads, grilled salmon, roasted duckling or wild mushroom pizza.
