Chateau Grand Traverse Winery (CGT) is seeking motivated and hardworking interns for the 2016 harvest season. Join our winemaking team and learn all aspects of what goes on in the wine cellar – no previous experience required!
With over forty years of experience growing and producing wine on Old Mission Peninsula, CGT is a world-class winery operation. Our skilled team will teach you how to assist in all cellar duties including crushing, pressing, fining and settling, racking, pump-overs and punch-downs, equipment and tank preparation and sanitation, bottling, filtration, juice and wine analysis and record-keeping.
Individuals seeking this opportunity must have a positive attitude, desire to learn, and strong work ethic. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb stairs and ladders, enter vessels and work long hours (some weekends). This is a full-time position through early December, future positions beyond the internship may be available.
